Potent Adjectives

While I've never been good at languages I love studying languages for what this can tell you about the people you are living with. I also love studying Bosnia even though I suck at it because Selma is a great ucitelica (teacher) who comes up twice a week with cool and entertaining lessons. We laugh through them and if I don't have my watch on we tend to go over the one-hour time limit.

The lesson today 5/22 was on adjectives. She said a noun and I had to describe it using adjectives that agreed with the stupid gender endings on them then I had to say a noun that she would describe.

One of my words for her was politicar (po-lit-ta-char) "politician."

She rolled out a bunch of adjectives: "corrupt," "rich," "bad...

"How about honest," I suggested.

"Oh," she answered, "Posten. You so rarely see that I didn't think of it."
