Kotor

Jennifer LaFleur, Drew and I last visited Kotor in 2002 only that day it poured down rain. This sunny day made Kotor feel like an entirely different place.

We ate in another fish restaurant and yes, the curse held. The risotto was mushy and the octopus salad not as fresh as Sarajevo. But the fresh fish soup was delicious and after lunch we set out to climb up to the top of a ragged mountain toward a fortress overlooking the sea. I only went about a third of the way to an old church. But the views were wonderful. Even the closeup views of flowers in the rocks had me snapping away.
