Englisher Garden indeed

Hunt scene in the Englisher Garden

Sunday morning with temperatures so mild I hardly needed a sweater and fall colors blazing, we went for a hike through Munich's gorgeous version of Central Park. The gardens date from times when soldiers were given land to bunk their family, plant gardens and graze animals. Today it's filled with hikers, bikers, sun-bathers, kids and surprisingly -- horsemen hunting fox. Red coats, bugles and all. Except for the fox. The prey in this hunt was a bushy tail pinned to one of the riders sleeve. But what a pretty scene we came upon.
