Not to forget about the first part of my long leave, forthwith, some memories of North America.
After last year and my retreat to Europe I shut out all thoughts of my lost home in Florida. A cruise with my mother, two sisters and niece to Hawaii surprisingly made me crushingly homesick. The beaches on Maui are the first anywhere that rival south Florida.
