Grates, walls and locks

These are views of my apartment -- known here as the BUNKER -- because of the security measures. I don't feel unsafe, except for all these security measures. State Department guidelines for US citizens have been a little hysterical since Apil 11 bombings, but essentially you have to follow the same rules as living in any big city. No going out at night, no going out alone, stay out of certain places and away from landmarks and government buildings, let the JDG staff know where you are and what your plans are at all times.
