Last look back at the beach

We had expected a wild, abandoned, pristine beach when we set out with our driver and so when we came to this thoroughly planned turistical town, as they say here, we were disappointed. At least I was. When the driver asked when to come back, I said something like 45 minutes. We upped it to two hours and to our surprise, the time flew.

For this little table set and umbrella Del (pictured) and I were held up for 500 dinars (about $7). A guy came up with a little ticket that plainly said 250 dinars, which I gave him. He punched 500 into his calculator and held it out to me.
I pointed to the 250 on the ticket.
He pointed to the umbrella. Hah, like it was a separate rental.
It was a bold huckstering move, however, so deserving of the 500 dinars.

The sound of waves, walking in water and picking up shells, something nice about that no matter the man made surroundings.
