You don't have to worry about the sensibilities and future of the species aboard an ATV. Ok, so we ripped up a little of the forest floor, but I really liked this mode of transportation even after our three-hour ride turned into a five-hour ordeal that extended past sunset and I couldn't see because I only had sunglasses with me. This made going down rutted mountainous trails especially challenging.
The highlights of our motorized trek were the sunset, already recorded in pictures in this blog, and a stop in a Hmong village where we interrupted a soccer game in progress.
