Walking through the park, waiting for a taxi outside the hotel, Chisinau on Friday (6/7/08) was awash in brides. Hotels and restaurants seem to do a brisk business in weddings throughout the week, not just weekends. The streets are filled with Jaguers, Mercedes and other expesive cars and limos garlanded with wedding decorations.
