Scenes from Kotor streets

Overgrown stairway

Doug buys homemade leather slippers and I won't let him bargain with little old shoemaker because he is an artisan.

Kotor, another beautiful town on the Adriatic, is a World Heritage site that dates to the time of the Illyrians and then Romans and on through a series of occupations from Austro-Hungarians through World War II forces. Tourists wander through a dozen squares and up a rocky walk behind the city into the mountains for a panoramic view of water, stone and flowers.
