My friend James has long joked about the luxury hotel in Sarajevo named for a poison gas -- Hotel Radon.
That happened because the boastful owner, a local business tycoon who owns a newspaper as well, used a shortened form of his own name apparently without thinking of the meaning tourists might take from it.
Here's one even worse in suburban Illyda: The "BM" Hotel.
The quote-marks are on the hotel sign so apparently the owner in this case did realize that the name could be taken the wrong way. But he USED the name anyway. Ugh.
