Manger Square in front of the Church of the Nativity is a parking lot. The square and marketing areas within walking distance of it are littered and smelly, filled with touts trying to get your attention and coins and the shops are exploitative and mostly shoddy.
I can see that a Tour of the Holy Land could be a disappointment to pilgrims who pay handsomely for it.
