Baby Strawberries

Along the roads these days are hordes of little kids holding up jars of red stuff. So we stopped and spent 5 KM (about $3) to find out about this. They are actually recycled honey jars and inside are tiny tiny red strawberries. They smell like the artificial strawberry in candy and taste about that sweet. Only they are completely natural. The market is full of them also, but not in jars and more expensive.

"You don't have these?" Bosnian friends asked? No, baby strawberries are green and hard where I come from.

Their Bosnian name is sumski jagode -- forest strawberries.
