Bull and Bear -- but it's not a Wall Street story

The Bull Part:
You tell me what this says about the sophistication of blog readers but the post that seems to have gotten the most reaction lately was that memorable one about a giant bull penis.

And I worried it might be in bad taste.

The Bear Part
To update a recent blog about the deplorable and much criticized state of the black bear in the Sarajevo Zoo -- its life has improved.

They've moved it out of the steel box it had been imprisoned it and into a habitat with a den, grassy hill, tree trunk and stairway down to a creek.

When we visited this weekend, however, it was so hot, the bear stayed inside its den, still only barely visible behind bars.
