CIN celebrates Mirsad's birthday Aug. 24Birthday cake has become a regular part of my diet since coming to Sarajevo! The custom at our office is that the person having a birthday brings in cake for everyone and in turn, we take up a collection to get a gift. Even Friketa, our amazing cleaning lady who is actually a talented cook/seamstress/gardener, participates. We had cake for her and for Mirsad this month. Mirsad just took his money and got a new shirt and three classical music CDs.
