Zephyr is a stunning networker. She's been meeting, talking up, interviewing, pursuing and otherwise devouring new people in her few weeks here and so I was not suprised when she wanted to know; what else besides coffee can you ask for in a cafe!?
In Sarajevo, all meetings, business, romantic, casual or familial take place over fincans of coffee. A busy person can end up twitchy with caffeine overdose if not careful.
But the offerings outside of coffee are meager -- mineral water, herbal, but rarely black tea, lemonade and bitter sweet lemon.
In a major culinary development Saturday 5/6 little bags of cheese "paffs" have appeared on shelves of local food shop. The folks at Cheetos have heard me and they shell be richly rewarded.
