All the News that's Fit to Print

Newspapers here have slogans just as the New York Times has its famous slogan above.

El Muhajdin's slogan, inspired by the war for independence with France, is By the people, for the people... (with the people is kind of implied.)

Ech Chorouk's slogan is not so catchy: In the truth we saw lies; in lies we saw truth.

Er, doesn't that mean, don't believe what you read in the newspaper? Well, I was told, it sounds better in Arabic.
