No, not for me.
The men/women wanted ads are always a divining rod to a country and so I was delighted to find some in L'Authentique. These ads are not very common here in a traditional, Muslim city. But this daily newspaper has a risque Tuesday lifestyle section with articles on rape and adultery and "the syndrome of personal love" that my French is not good enough to decipher.
The advertisers here are surprisingly mature, 39, 45, 58, 66, and they are interested in good breeding, faith and seriousness.
A sample -- JF, a single, tall woman who wears a hidjeb, serious from a good family, sincere, of middle level education, honest, is looking for a man to marry who is serious, stable, pious, sincere, who loves God and respects himself and a calm, serious life. Send a number and a photo.
A 55-year-old man divorced, in a stable situation as the boss of a business, wants to meet a JF (young woman) with a happy outlook, very series of a good family and honorable for marriage -- God Willing.
A 58-year-old man who's wife died leaving him with a 13-year-old daughter, who owns a house in Algiers, is looking for a woman of good family, to love God, give a good education to his daughter and to finish his days with in peace.
