One of the Algiers tabloids ran a picture of a bloody fetus as it Page 1 photo today. This was a new low even among the shredded babies and eviscerated teens the papers have run recently.
Islam is more pro-procreation than Catholicism. Abortion is a sin --and in this Muslim state also a crime for those who perform the operation. Muslims like Catholics also are supposed to abstain from birth control -- except through abstinence.
Extreme and passionate views on abortion is something Algeria and America have in common.

In the summer of 2012, I'm back in Sarajevo working with people who are good journalists and after all this time also good friends.
