Barice

After work today 7/11 Ermin, one of our reporters, took his editors to a favorite spot of his that he's been talking about for a while. We had NO IDEA!!

We drove only 15 minutes -- straight up through narrow and winding carriage-track roads -- to the highest point in mountains around Sarajevo. It was beautiful and so far from the urban setting at the bottom of the hill we couldn't believe it. The air was chilled and clean and we drank beer and juniper juice at the ski lodge. Jars of juniper berries soaking in water line the all the window sills of the lodge. We also ordered ustipak and cheese, a Bosnian specialty, and grilled peppers.
