is hachak.
You know how when prissy people say "excuse my French" before they use a bad word that most of us use 10 times a day without an introduction? Well, that's what this word is. But it's used not pre-cussing, but pre mention of dogs and donkeys.
If you must mention these filthy creatures in respectable company, you do you gingerly.
It also has a little sense of "out of respect." Like if you dropped something and I bent down to retrieve it for you, I'd say "hachak" first.
Cats, by the way, are ok. You can just say Cats without hachaking.
